Sunshine and Gray Whales!

Everett Highlights
California sea lions
harbor porpoise
Gray whales 53, 49, 383

We enjoyed a gorgeous sunny day on flat calm waters throughout the entire trip.  Coming out of the marina we enjoyed viewing the “resident” hauled out California sea lions sunning themselves on the navy pontoons.  As we traveled north into Saratoga passage we were entertained by some harbor porpoise before we came upon three gray whales!  These whales were spread out along the Camano Island shoreline: 53, 49, and 383.  #383 gave us some great looks and showed up his tail on multiple occasions!  At one point both 53 and 383 passed each other, but continued on in different directions.  At that point it was time to make our way back to the dock.  What a beautiful day out on the water!
