Wildlife and sunshine from Anacortes

Our trip today took us through the heart of the San Juan Islands, where we saw a nice variety of wildlife in fairly nice conditions. We saw harbor seals and a Steller sea lion nearing Peavine Pass, and also saw some Fallow Deer on Spieden Island. As we cruised south into Haro Strait on the search the wind waves built up as a strong storm approached from the southwest. We turned back to the east and continued the tour with sun overhead. We stayed in mostly calm seas today, and although we were not able to find a whale, our guests are invited to return with us to search for whales whenever they choose!
