Harbor seals, harbor porpoise, bald eagles and sunny skies!

-Bald eagles

We began our morning trip under sunny skies and calm water. We headed through the inner islands on our search. At Willow Island we saw a couple of harbor seals. Then, from behind one of the harbor seals, we spied a pup! So cute! We saw harbor porpoise throughout our entire trip. We took a turn down Upright Channel into San Juan Channel out to the Strait of Juan de Fuca! The water got a little bit bumpy and all of our passengers were helping on the search! We searched the strait and made our way over to Whidbey Island. We turned north up Rosario Strait and stopped by Bird Rocks and found a couple of mature bald eagles and several more harbor seals hauled out. One of the eagles even took flight, stirring up all the gulls in the area! We cruised on toward home port. Unfortunately on our trip, we weren’t able to spot a whale, but all of our customers get to come back, free, for life, until they see a whale!
